Franke has developed an innovative new tap brace for large, heavy taps which may
require additional support when fitted to a stainless steel sink.
The patented tap brace from the world’s leading sink manufacturer offers a
solution to the occasional problem of ‘flexing’ which can occur when large taps
are fitted to stainless steel sinks.
The new Franke tap brace is installed under the sink and connects the tap to
the worktop for extra support.
The tap brace has a variable collar to ensure it fits all models of taps and
can be used on any stainless steel sink. It has a retail price of £9.90.
Jeanette Ward, assistant product manager for Franke, said: "We understand
there can sometimes be difficulties with ‘flexing’ on stainless steel sinks when
heavy taps are fitted.
"Whereas previously consumers might have had to consider this problem when
purchasing certain models, the new tap brace now gives them the freedom to choose
a large tap without concern."
