With an ingenious patented fixing system, the stainless steel Laser sink from Franke is designed to be ten
times quicker to install than a conventional sink. It also offers a super-slim edge profile which is virtually
flush with the work surface and adds an extra, deeper dimension to both the bowl and drainer.
The top-mounted Laser range incorporates patented Franke Slimfix System fixing clips which automatically grip
the worktop thus saving the time-consuming job of attaching clips or tightening screws beneath the sink.
Installation of the Laser sink is complete in a few easy stages. Firstly, the supplied template is applied to
the worktop and drawn around with a pencil, next; a jigsaw is used to cut out the worktop, before checking the cut-out
is correct by using the template. Mastic sealant is then applied around the edge of the cut-out, and the sink is
simply lowered into position and pushed into place - when the unique clips seize and grip the worktop.
Sleek in form, the Laser has been conceived to enhance the good looks of any kitchen. The super-slim profile of
the sink’s lip means that the bowl and drainer are wider and the aesthetics of the deep, recessed wet area more sculpted.
The Laser sink comes in silk finish, stainless steel and is available in both single and bowl and a half
versions with the option of left or right-hand drainers. A 35mm tap hole is provided and the 90mm basket strainer
waste is capable of adaptation for a waste disposal unit. Bespoke accessories comprise a sliding glass preparation
platter and, for the bowl and a half sink, a stainless steel strainer bowl. Franke recommends the Eiger tap to
complement the Laser range, however any one of the extensive range of taps on offer would suit this model.
