The Franke Group, a global provider of household products and services,
has strengthened its Kitchen Systems business with the acquisition of
leading cooker hood company, the Faber Group.
The Faber Group, which consolidated sales worth more than CHF 300
million in 2004 and has some 1,500 employees in 14 countries around the
world, will be integrated into the Franke Kitchen Systems Division.
Franke had already acquired a 49 per cent stake in The Faber Group in
August 2004 and is delighted to complete the acquisition, which the
company believes will strengthen its kitchen systems business significantly.
