Ovens

Static cooking   Traditional fan-assisted cooking   Grilling   Fan-assisted grill   Defrosting

Static cooking
The heat produced by the upper and lower heating elements crosses the oven as a result of natural conduction. An ideal function for all traditional recipes, for baking bread or cakes or for roasting various kinds of meat.

Traditional fan-assisted cooking
The air is heated by the upper and lower heating elements and circulated by the powerful rear fan. This enables fast, even cooking and is ideal for soufflés, pies, cakes or roasts. It also offers the chance to cook different dishes on two levels without mixing smells and flavours.

Grilling
This only uses the upper grill and is ideal for toasting bread or browning meat and fish.

Fan-assisted grill
The heat is generated by the grill and distributed by the movement of the rear fan. It is ideal for cooking thick joints of meat or poultry, such as guinea fowl and chicken or for grilling large portions at the end of the cooking process.

Defrosting
Unheated air at room temperature circulates through the oven considerably diminishing the time required to defrost even the most delicate or voluminous foods. In ovens where this function is not indicated with a specific position on the dial, selecting a fan-assisted cooking process and setting the temperature knob on "0" will activate it.

Fan-assisted cooking
The circular resistance heats the air and the rear fan enables perfect distribution directly from the heat source. The hot air that circulates evenly inside the oven reduces cooking times and heating times and is ideal for cooking any food, with different dishes on up to three separate levels, without mixing smells and flavours.

Multi Power Cooking
This Franke oven function uses the circular element at full power and partially uses the upper and lower elements. It offers the same advantages as fan-assisted cooking, plus optimum distribution of the temperature inside the oven for fast, even cooking. It is ideal for preparing foods which require deep cooking and crispy outer surface.

Quick Cooking
This is the most powerful Franke oven cooking function. The combination of the circular element and the upper and lower elements, all used simultaneously produces 2805W. The rear fan contributes to the even diffusion of heat throughout the whole muffle. It can be universally used to quickly reach the chosen temperature and continue with the required cooking process.

Upper fan-assisted cooking
The combination of the upper element and the fan makes it possible to delicately brown the surface of the food. This function is particularly suitable when preparing foods such as lasagne, pies and baked pasta or vegetables.

Pyrolytic
The oven is able to self-seal and then heat to ultra-high temperatures - thus reducing waste to an easily cleanable powder form.

Triple Glazing   Anti-touch finish   Class A performance and consumption   Power chart

Triple Glazing
This feature enables the exterior glass in the oven door to remain cool to the touch, whatever the temperature inside.

Anti-touch finish
The steel surface of this appliance is treated so that it is more resistant to marks left by fingerprints.

Class A performance and consumption
The design solutions that characterise the new Franke ovens have now been extended to cover the whole range, as indicated by the Energy Label, the European standard introduced in January 2003, which classifies ovens on the basis of their consumption. From the 5-function basic model to the more evolved 9-function version. Franke 60-cm ovens are all classified in Class A: an added advantage for consumers who also care for the environment.

Quadruple Glazing

Quadruple Glazing Developed specifically for the ultra-high temperatures of pyrolitic ovens, this feature ensures the oven's glass door remains cool to the touch.

Telescopic runners
Available on two or three levels, these are easy to assemble and offer maximum safety when putting food into the oven or removing it.
